Nicole by OPI Nail Polishes

Two years back, I remember getting excited when I saw Watsons Singapore had finally brought in NICOLE by OPI nailpolishes! Ive always found them to be the more affordable version of OPI polishes, yet with the same great quality. I was recently invited to Singapore’s first media event for Nicole by OPI, and there are some pretty exciting collaborations coming up!

I picked random colours at the event, and Sophia painted them onto her nails so we could take some swatches! She really amazes me at how FAST and neat she paints her nails!

At the moment, Nicole by OPI is available in an extensive palette of 30 shades in Singapore, and is available exclusively at Watsons, retailing at $12.90 each.

In 2010, Nicole by OPI announced the brand’s first celebrity collaboration featuring lacquers inspired by Justin Bieber. Within less than two months, the line’s initial run of one million bottles sold out!

Since this successful launch, Nicole by OPI has partnered with reality television stars Kris Jenner and her five daughters – Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner – to launch Kardashian Kolor.

In January 2013, the brand will release two exciting new collections with celebrity and television partners Selena Gomez and ABC’s Modern Family.

At the end of the media event, we were allowed to pick up to ten bottles of any NICOLE by OPI nailpolishes!
These are the nine I picked:

Another exciting thing we learnt from the media event was that if you visit Nicole By Opi’s official website,, you can use their “Nicole’s Try It On Studio” which allows you to get a virtual manicure! So you can see which colour looks best on you, even before you buy it.

ALSO, the “Nicole Try it On Studio” is now portable with the launch of their very own Iphone App! That means you now have the ability to “try-on” a shade in store prior to purchase. How thoughtful!

The nailpolishes are extremely easy to apply with their brush, which I find is slightly wider than the normal brushes
