HAUL: UrbanDecay Vice Palette

When the Urban Decay Vice palette first came out, I was NOT one of those people who went gaga over them, buying them immediately. Infact,I told myself I was not going to buy it because I would never end up using it. But then things changed when I emerged winner of the PANASONIC Beauty empowerment contest and won myself some Sephora vouchers. My best friend Nikki bought the vice palette and kept gushing about how brilliant the colours were and I thought NAHHHH, still not going to buy it!
Then fast forward to few days back when I was in Sephora with Nikki and I saw the Vice palette again. this one particular BLUE shade caught my attention and …well, I figured since I had the vouchers I should just buy it! and I did!

And I have to say…IM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT! I still hate the fact that its in bulky box, but the colours totally make up for it!

The vice palette contains TWENTY brilliant shades (so at S$88, that equates to only $4.40 per colour!) Oh and it also comes with a dual sided brush! Not the cheap quality brushes that you normally get with palettes! So that probably means you pay even less than $4 per colour. Plus not to forget the box(as bulky as i may be, it has a pretty crystal inspired logo, made of plastic)

Here are close up photos of the colours, and their swatches(with NO eyeshadow primer used)

BRILLIANT, OR WHAT????

and I promised myself that I WOULD use it! I never buy these kinda palettes normally because they’re just too bulky to carry around for my client appointments, so this time I made sure I brought it out with me for my bridal appointment the very next day!

I used the colours PENNY LANE and MUSE on this lovey bride of mine:
